A Chartered Engineer & Geologist, Roni set up Jomas Associates in 2009 which is an innovative company of engineering and environmental specialists, serving the construction industry. They assess ground conditions before any buildings or structures can be constructed, and design foundations that keep buildings standing; they also investigate and clean up contamination in the ground, and ensure all sites are safe for use.
Roni, one of the f:Entrepreneur #ialso 2019, and a multi-award winner, is a trustee and volunteer for YMCA and is part of the advisory board for the Mayor's fund for London, supporting the social mobility campaign, and helping other women find their feet and pursue dream careers. She is a regular speaker at events and provides free mentoring and coaching and has appeared on Sky News Sunrise, promoting female bosses and gender balance, with appearances also on BBC News and London Live. She has been interviewed for articles in LinkedIn, Property Week, Forbes, Telegraph and Daily Mail also, promoting diversity. She is policy chair for construction for the federation of small businesses (FSB).
