Morag founded Kiltered, a consultancy and advisory business that uses organisational psychology and data analytics to help companies build inclusive workplace cultures, in October 2020. The business takes its name from the phrase “off-kilter”, reflecting Morag’s belief that many organisations prioritise their external brand over investing in the internal culture.
Conversations about diversity and inclusion are nothing new, but the dialogue around corporate responsibility was heightened during lockdown. It was clear to Morag from the response of many businesses that the people making decisions lacked the insight to make authentic and informed choices and pay more than just lip service to creative inclusive working environments. Kiltered is her response to that. It provides business leaders with the insights they need to implement inclusive change and the flexibility to build better corporate cultures.
