Habiba Chowdhury

Habiba is the founder of My Curry Club, a multi-award-winning Indian Cookery School where she creates foodie heavens experiences.

Charismatic and inspirational she has created a new style of curries and teaches her class attendees how to master the art of cooking with spices.

Her vision is to create spice masters all across the UK who can appreciate, understand and recreate authentic homemade regional dishes from Bangladesh, India and the world. 'Knowledge brings power and I want to educate and teach people about the foods I experienced as a youngster. Through my courses, I create awareness of the true nature of Indian food which has been welcomed and a huge success.'

Her contribution to the Indian food industry comes at a time where her vision, thinking and innovations are welcomed and much needed change.

Within just two short years, Habiba's Curry Club has won multiple awards with the latest being for the Sole to Sole category as Sole Trader of the Year by The Small Awards July 2020 and Rising Star by the Asian Curry Awards (ACF) 2019. She has been titled Master of Spices across numerous articles

She has also been Highly Commended by The Food Awards where she was a finalist for Cookery School of the Year 2019.

And she also had the pleasure of cooking live at The Royal Country Cheshire show where she met Rosemary Shrager who on tasting her food said 'Simply delicious, your mum should be proud.'

Habiba's Curry rocketed from launch and she has no plans of slowing down, with a new virtual platform, a cookbook and expansion for the school in the pipeline.
