Abbie Akinfenwa had spent over two decades working in the IT industry for a variety of retailers but always had a yearn to run a business of her own.
She bought a Pink Spaghetti franchise in 2016 as being an organised, efficient person played to her strengths. She wanted something that was flexible and gave her a platform to share her skills and knowledge with more people. Pink Spaghetti PA Services helps other businesses with the things that they may not have time to do, like doing or know how to do.
Clients have the option of paying for a retainer or a pay as you go service. This appeals to a lot of businesses as helps them manage their cashflow better. The business has gone from strength and with her small team and the backing of her franchise network is helping a large number of other small businesses to reduce their stress levels and grow too.
It is not all about business though, Abbie makes time to help out when she can. She has been a supporter of Seva Street, a charity in East London that supports the homeless, Haven House which is a hospice for terminally ill children and lastly acts as a patient advocate for Breast Cancer Now after surviving breast cancer herself.
She is so proud to be part of the #ialso2020 crew and looking forward to building relationships with other business owners.
