Sarah Ali Choudhury

Sarah is an Indian food expert, YouTuber, Speaker, influencer, Entrepreneur and known as Disrupter in the Indian food industry.

Also known as 'The Curry Queen' the Multi Award Winning and globally recognised Indian chef has recipes and articles featured in print and online publications locally, nationally and internationally including Forbes, The Telegraph, The Hindu, The Sun, The Independent and various others. Sarah's contribution has been highlighted by Forbes who recognise her as a disrupter in the Indian catering industry and titled her as 'The Curry Queen' and as a global leader for Asian women in Catering.

Sarah recently presented BBC's Inside Out programme which highlighted female chefs in the UK which was also featured on BBC World News.

In 2016, Sarah took part in a Channel 4 Cookery show where she had the pleasure of working alongside Prue Leith CBE, Michael Caines MBE and Raymond Blanc. Sarah has been given many opportunities to inspire and motivate through public speaking and has been a keynote speaker at numerous events including f:Entrepreneur at The House of Lords, For Asian Catering at The House of Commons, The Chartered Management Institute, Athena Swan Conference, The Women in Business Expo, Global Entrepreneur Week at Bournemouth University and The Federation of Small Businesses; of which she is the official FSB Policy Leader for the Food Industry.

Over the past three years Sarah has received multiple awards. Most recently for Entrepreneur of the Year, and for The Perfect Global Chef of the Year (in India).

She is listed in f:Entrepreneur #ialso100 List which recognises outstanding female entrepreneurs in UK.

HRH The Princess Royal presented Sarah with an award for her contribution to the catering industry at The Curry Awards and she also received an award from The British Armed Forces for her outstanding contribution for The Military Covenant.

With these numerous awards and accolades, Sarah has built up a phenomenal distinction of understanding and addressing issues that women encounter in the business world. Her own experiences of being an asian woman in a male dominated industry and the challenges faced of being a mum in business while maintaining a work life balance. Sarah takes pride in and loves coaching and mentoring outstanding individuals to help them overcome barriers and reach for the stars!

Sarah grabbed the opportunity to be the proud PR Ambassador for the UK Nepal Friendship Society, The incoming President for Rotary Club of Poole Bay and the district leader for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. She is the Patron of Tyler's Friends - a charity that supports bereaved parents and Ambassador for Lewis Manning Hospice.
