Michelle loves celebrating LOVE!
Known as the #FunkyCelebrant®, she is a multi-award winning Wedding and Family Celebrant based in the East of England. She has been spreading her own infectious brand of ceremony for the past 10 years and travels extensively throughout England and into Europe.
With a penchant for 50's dresses and Doc Marten boots, Michelle certainly breaks the mould when it comes to creating and delivering unique and inclusive ceremonies from Weddings, to Vow Renewals and everything in between.
Adding Corporate Ceremonies to her portfolio in 2019, has meant that Michelle can now also help companies, big and small, to celebrate the milestones and achievements which can sometimes so easily be overlooked.
As well as being a very experienced celebrant, Michelle, who is also a retired police officer, has put her expertise to good use developing a number of ongoing CPD training modules for UK based celebrants.
Michelle successfully launched an online diversity course for wedding industry professionals in Feb 2022.
She says:
It has been a long time coming, but I am proud to bring a 'the first of its kind' course to an industry that has long overlooked the diverse range of people who work in it as well as happily side stepping some of the issues that those we service may experience.
The course is a shallow dive into cultural, disability and LGBTQI+ issues that have for so many, up to the point, not been validated within this industry.
